Keep your pants on folks, we've been busy playing games left and right. Coming up soon we will have reviews of Super Street Fighter 4, Oblivion, Half-Life 1 & 2 and Red Dead Redemption. Damon and I have had a lot on our plates and as usual are working hard to force our opinions on you!
With the advent of Steam becoming available to Mac users, Portal is now free! A no-brainer for most people as free is the correct price for most games; Portal is well worth the money that people paid to own this great game prior. After some coercion from Damon to pick this game up and play it, I am happy to say that Portal is the first 5 star game to be reviewed on QuarterUp.

Well here is our first podcast for Quarter Up. This time we go over Assassin's Creed 2, we hope you enjoy it. Also if you have some time check out our written review of Assassin's Creed 2 as well as Supreme Commander. Coming up soon we will have our review of Portal and our podcast of Iron Man 2 on Road Warrior Reviews.
Supreme Commander, the successor to the exceptional game Total Annihilation, is the child of video game designer Chris Taylor. Following along the same path as Total Annihilation, Supreme Commander is a Real Time Strategy game (R.T.S.) featuring a futuristic world in which war is rampart, worlds are destroyed and giant robots blow up. Can Supreme Commander live up to its predecessor or is this game an attempt to keep a dead series alive?

Just got my hands on the PC version of Assassin's Creed II and I can't wait to share my thoughts on it. Unfortunately, I've only just started the game so the review won't be up for a while but I can already say it's shaping up to be a better game than it's predecessor. While you wait, check out CK's review of Total Annihilation!
Total Annihilation! For any Real Time Strategy (R.T.S.) fan, this is a must play. Along with Warcraft and StarCraft, Total Annihilation helped form the RTS genre into what it is today. With great music, great narration and a giant list of units to build or destroy, its easy to see why some people still play this game today.

The spiritual successor to Total Annihilation, comes one of my favorite RTS games. Supreme Commander is one of those games that many people were waiting for. Those that played it, loved it and those that didn't, well they just missed out. It received a huge amount of press during E3 when it was revealed. Afterwords the game just seemed to disappear. Well its been a couple of years and its time this game and Total Annihilation got some credit. The Supreme Commander review is currently underway! But coming up soon is our review on Splinter Cell:Conviction and a look back at Total Annihilation. Cant talk about the sequel without mentioning one of the greatest RTS games of all time...
The Splinter Cell: Conviction review is officially in the works and will be up before you can say "WHO KILLED MY DAUGHTER!" while smashing a man's head through a urinal. Until then, make sure you check our Final Fantasy 13 Review currently on the site!
After many long awaited months and years Final Fantasy 13 has finally come into my grasp. Final Fantasy 13 is the latest addition to a long line of Role Playing Games created by Square Enix, formally Square Soft. Initially, I had some bias towards this new addition to the series. I was expecting the worst as I have been disappointed with the series since Final Fantasy 7. I was pleasantly surprised with Final Fantasy 13; it had some fresh ideas that were well executed. That isn’t to say that Final Fantasy 13 is perfect. The real question is will Final Fantasy 13 live up to the hype?
